This remedial work was carried out at Rose Bay and involved repairing and reinforcing a retaining wall.

The retaining wall is an essential structure that holds back soil or other materials to prevent erosion or the collapse of internal higher ground level. In the case of Rose Bay, the existing retaining wall had suffered damage and was showing signs of instability.

To address this issue, the remedial work involved several steps.

First, the damaged sections of the retaining wall were identified and assessed. This allowed us to determine the extent of the damage and the required repairs. The damaged materials were removed and replaced with new, structurally strong components.

Additionally, we reinforced the retaining wall with steel rods and concrete to enhance its stability and durability.

Waterproofing was also carried out on the back of the retaining wall to prevent any moisture infiltration.

Overall, the remedial work involves a comprehensive process of removing and replacing various retaining wall elements to ensure its structural stability and visual continuity with the existing materials and features.

Currently, we are undergoing different stages for the remedial work of the building.
